// Wednesday morning//

The sky is blue and the Winter sun shines brightly through the windows. I refresh page after page. It seems I’m looking for something. Something to get me started. I want to do so much. But I feel I can’t start with something, because if I do, I won’t be able to start on another thing. My mind works in mysterious ways.

// Tuesday morning//

The app on his phone marks minus 5 Celsius. I turn on my side, wrapping the blanket tightly around me. I stay like this for a while until I move my hibernating self over to the couch. Watching TV series while having breakfast, followed by coffee and on to lunch, at home, nice and warm. This is one of those mornings that last an afternoon.

// Monday morning//

It’s Monday and still a bit dark outside. The ground is covered by a thin layer of snow. I’ve just had breakfast. The sound of the clock ticking and of seaguls flying by is all there’s to be heard. I’m getting cold, so I crawl back into bed next to him.
